Felicia Chaves



Felicia is a singer and multi-instrumentalist from Cambridge. She completed her Bachelor of Music Degree at Wilfrid Laurier University concentrating in Integrated Musical Arts where she completed courses and capstone projects involving songwriting, recording, and performance. Felicia has always had a passion for performing, and you can find her doing just that with her band The Blue Nova playing around Southern Ontario. She is thrilled to be part of the Octave Music team and pass on her passion for music!














Justin Tang



Justin Tang's passion for music started at an early age, with piano lessons beginning at the age of five and saxophone starting at the age of ten. He went on to study piano with Dr. Michael Berkovsky and Dr. Marnie Van Weeldan, achieving his ARCT in Performance Diploma. He has won numerous awards and scholarships in and around the Greater Toronto Area. In addition, he was a provincial finalist for three consecutive years and has won the prestigious Alice Sloan Memorial Scholarship for both piano and saxophone.
Justin focuses on tailoring his lessons to each student's unique learning style and interests. He believes that learning music should be an enjoyable experience, and he works hard to create a fun and engaging learning environment. He loves helping his students discover the joy and fulfillment that music can bring.
Outside of music, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, exploring outdoors, trying out new restaurants, and watching movies.














Abu Ghouri



Abu is an experienced educator, performer, and composer in the Guelph region. He holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Humber College in Voice and is currently recording his first studio album.
Abu has trained with many renowned instructors including Elaine Overholt, Shannon Gunn, Lorraine Lawson, Orville Heyn, and Yvette Tollar.
He primarily teaches in the styles of Pop, R&B, Jazz, Blues, and Classical Piano, with Jazz and R&B being his speciality, with a heavy gospel influence in his style. He has educated kids since 2016 and has taught voice and piano since 2017.
Abu can help a student expand their skills and make them feel more comfortable and confident in expressing and sharing their gifts and is passionate about inspiring his students to achieve their musical goals.

Abu teaches Piano, Voice, Guitar, Ukulele and Music Theory.














Kevin Saltarelli


Kevin Saltarelli started to make his own music at the age of 4. His initial interests were in keyboards and synthesizers, which motivated him to begin his study of the piano. During Kevin’s teen years, he played percussion with the Timmins Symphony Orchestra, cello with the Timmins Symphony Youth Orchestra, bass in a rock band and piano with various classical instrumentalists.

Kevin graduated from Wilfred Laurier University in 2005 with a degree in Music Composition. While at Wilfred Laurier, Kevin studied piano performance with Dr. Jamie Parker and Dr. Heather Dawn Taves, composition with Dr. Peter Hatch, Linda Caitlin Smith and Cam McKittrick and improvisation with Dr. Glenn Buhr.
He has composed for various concert series including NUMUS, Open Ears, Sound Limits/Sound Freedom and The Leftover Daylight Series. He has also composed several pieces for theatre and more recently has been involved in composing and performing structured improvisations for music theatre. Kevin currently composes and plays with various musicians in and around the Toronto area, from Minimal to Ambient and Free Jazz to Indie Rock. He teaches music full time, with a heavy emphasis placed on creativity and sonic exploration.
All of Kevins’ students compose, improvise and make electronic music.












Katerina Kolbas Rozmaring


Katerina Kolbas Rozmaring graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University in 1998. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Flute Performance. Katerina started her Music education at age of 8 and she won multiple competitions. In 1991 she won the national competition in Herceg Novi and in 1998 the concerto competition at Laurier University.
Katerina has performed as a principal flautist at the National Academy Orchestra in Hamilton, Ontario under the direction of Boris Brott in 2000. She has over 20 years of experience in teaching flute, piano and music theory. Katerina loves finding new methods of teaching individuals of all age groups and is constantly finding new techniques and strategies for her students to advance their progress and achievements. Katerina prepares her students for recitals, RCM exams, festivals and competitions where they can showcase their talents.
As an artist, Katerina is constantly inventing herself to new heights and perspectives and has a variety of interests. She loves abstract painting, photography, fashion, traveling, and astrology.
